Shipping timelines are estimates, not guarantees.
Orders placed between 7 Feb – 24 Feb annually may experience 1–2 week shipment delays due to logistics provider notice.
Additionally, shipments may be subject to inspection by U.S. Customs, shipment originating customs or the destination country’s customs authority. While we work closely with our logistics partners to ensure prompt clearance, customs inspections are conducted in accordance with government regulations and may result in extended processing times beyond our control.
Customs inspections are random and outside of MK Aquarium Store’s control. If a shipment is selected for inspection by U.S. Customs or the destination country’s customs authority, clearance may take up to 30 days, or longer if required by the customs authority, until the inspection is fully completed.
During this period, MK Aquarium Store and its logistics partners cannot force release of the shipment. We will continue monitoring the shipment and providing updates where available, but customs inspection delays do not qualify for cancellation, refund, or compensation.
In such cases:
Customers may contact us at any time for shipment updates. We monitor freight routinely and will provide status updates as they become available.
Order processing time and shipping/transit time are separate.
Most orders require approximately 3–7 business days for processing, preparation, production or dispatch, depending on the product. The shipping timeframe selected at checkout begins after the order has completed processing and has been dispatched.
All stated shipping timelines are in business days, unless specifically stated otherwise.
The checkout page will indicate the applicable fulfillment/shipping method for your order. If an item is available from our U.S. inventory, it may be fulfilled domestically. If it is not available in the destination country, the order may be fulfilled from our international warehouse and transported to the destination country before being handed over to a local courier for final delivery.
For international shipments to the U.S., tracking from carriers such as FedEx or UPS may not show movement immediately. The shipment first travels internationally, clears U.S. Customs, and is then handed over to the final-mile carrier. Tracking generally becomes active once the carrier receives and scans the shipment. Same applies for all countries and their own individual customs policies around the world
Example: If you select a 20–30 business day shipping method, this does not include the separate 3–7 business day order processing period.
